Lord Crewe Vows To Dismantle Blankenship’s Group

Lord Crewe says Dylan Cole will be the first target in a month-by-month campaign to dismantle Mortimer Blankenship III’s group and clear his path toward the EMERGE World Championship.

Crewe issued the warning in a post-event promo released by EMERGE Wrestling after he and the No Limit Demons won at EMERGE 98: Back In The Saddle. Crewe will face Cole at EMERGE 99: Stock The Shelves on September 5.

Crewe said the six-man tag-team victory was intended to send a message beyond the opponents standing across the ring.

“Tonight, myself and the No Limit Demons joined forces to stand tall in the center of the ring.”

“And I hope, Morty, that you and all of your little goons were paying attention, because tonight was about sending a message to you, to Brayden Lee, and to everyone else associated with you.”

Crewe then identified Cole as the first member of Blankenship’s group he intends to remove.

“Next month, here at EMERGE, I’m coming after the lowest on your totem pole.”

“Dylan Cole, I’ve beat your ass around this building once already, and that was me being nice. But now I have a point to prove and a message to send, and now it’s at your expense.”

At Back In The Saddle, Crewe joined Matt Diesel and Nikeem Avent against Money Power Respect members Paragon and Christopher Moore, along with Juwan Thomas. Paragon abandoned the match following a disagreement with Thomas, while Moore left in an attempt to calm his partner.

Crewe and the No Limit Demons then overwhelmed Thomas and secured the victory.

Crewe said defeating Cole would be only the first stage of a larger campaign against everyone protecting Lee.

“So, Morty, I’m gonna take one of your soldiers out next month, and I don’t care if I have to do it every month until your army is depleted, with one man standing, and that’s Brayden Lee.”

Lee retained the EMERGE World Championship against Erik Surge and Ashton Adonis in the Back In The Saddle main event. He is scheduled to defend against Justin Kyle at Stock The Shelves.

Crewe has not been formally announced for an EMERGE World Championship match at EMERGE 100. His promo presents the milestone event as his objective rather than confirming a finalized title match or assuming Lee will remain champion.

Crewe nevertheless made clear that the championship remains his ultimate destination.

“Because I am going to become the EMERGE Heavyweight Champion, and I don’t care how many bodies I have to take in the process.”

“So if I was you, I would heed my warning and just throw Brayden to the front of the line, or else you’re going to have no one else standing by your side.”
