‘Schedule 1’ Is Coming To Xbox Next Week, But It’s Not The Game You’re Thinking Of

Earlier this year, there was a lot of discussion around Schedule 1 – a game about building a drug empire that attracted huge sales on Steam and still remains an extremely popular PC title to this day.
So, imagine our surprise when we spotted a game called Schedule 1: Dope Empire in next week’s Xbox releases lineup! After a little bit of digging, we discovered that this is not the Schedule 1 that everyone’s familiar with, but rather a clone that has almost the same name and basically the same premise.
Here’s a bit about Schedule 1: Dope Empire:
Step into the underworld and rise from street-level nobody to criminal kingpin in Schedule I: Dope Empire, a gritty drug empire simulator set in the decaying city of York Port. Manufacture, distribute, and rule — but every decision carries risk.
We haven’t come across all that much information about Schedule 1: Dope Empire online, but the PlayStation Store version has a rating of 1.44/5 – probably because people were expecting a different game to what they bought.
That doesn’t necessarily mean it’s not worth buying, but yeah… don’t be confused when this pops up on the Xbox Store next week! Schedule 1: Dope Empire is different to the famous Schedule 1 game, and we’re expecting it to cost around £11.99 / $14.99 when it arrives on Xbox next Wednesday, November 12th.
For what it’s worth, the developer behind the main Schedule 1 has already indicated their desire to bring it to Xbox, but there’s no sign of its release just yet. In the meantime, clones like these (and popular alternatives like Drug Dealer Simulator) will have to fill the void on console.
