Xbox Summer Sale 2026 Set To Begin Soon, Here’s What You Need To Know

The Xbox Summer Sale 2026 is set to begin soon, during which a large number of digital Xbox games are expected to be discounted for around two weeks. The official date of the sale hasn’t been announced at the time of writing, but we’ve provided some educated guesses below as to when we think it might be available.

Note: The Xbox Summer Sale is also often referred to as the “Ultimate Game Sale”.

When Is The Xbox Summer Sale 2026?

As mentioned above, the date of the Xbox Summer Sale 2026 hasn’t been revealed yet. However, based on past Summer Sales, we’re expecting a date to be revealed over the next few weeks.

Last year’s Xbox Summer Sale took place from July 17th to August 1st, with over 1000 deals included for Xbox games and add-ons. The year before, it began slightly earlier on July 19th and ended a day earlier on July 31st.

With these dates in mind, we’re predicting that the Xbox Summer Sale 2026 will begin on either July 16th or July 23rd. It almost always falls on a Friday, although there’s always a chance it could be released slightly earlier in the week.

However, we’re also expecting an Xbox Summer Sale “Teaser” event that’s exclusive to Xbox Game Pass members before the full thing goes live. Last year’s began over a week early, so we’re predicting the teaser will start around July 7th or July 14th. This event usually only includes around 25-50% of the final selection.
