Outlaws + Handful of Missions: Remaster – A Classic Releases On PS4, PS5 This November

Atari is bringing back the 1997 Wild West shooter, Outlaws, with a remaster developed by Nightdive Studios. Players step into the boots of ex-Marshal James Anderson, seeking justice in a corrupt frontier town. The remaster includes the original campaign plus extra missions, balancing nostalgia with new challenges.

The game features updated visuals, high-resolution cutscenes, and stylized characters and weapons. Players can enjoy modern enhancements like up to 4K graphics and cross-play multiplayer. Modes include Deathmatch, Team Play, Capture the Flag, and the quirky “Kill The Fool With The Chicken.”

A Vault provides behind-the-scenes content on the game’s development. Modern controller support adds a weapon wheel, rumble, and motion/gyro controls. These updates make the game accessible to both newcomers and longtime fans.

Outlaws + Handful of Missions: Remaster launches on November 20, 2025, for PlayStation 5. Pre-orders are now open, letting players step back into the Wild West soon.
