State Of Decay 3 Receives Over 70 Minutes Of Zombie-Killing Alpha Gameplay

Undead Labs‘ upcoming State Of Decay 3 has received more than one hour of Alpha footage for your viewing pleasure, offering our best look yet at how the zombie-slaying sequel is shaping up.

The footage comes courtesy of YouTuber Brain Menard, and we should probably warn you, it looks pretty rough in places, but that’s to be expected as 1) it’s early Alpha footage and 2) the game isn’t out until 2027. With that said, soak up the gameplay below.

State Of Decay 3 takes place following a zombie apocalypse as a new evolution of the undead threatens to break the world’s fragile equilibrium, with the zombie hordes now poised to overwhelm landscape. Players are required to reclaim their territory and protect their from the undead threat, and along the way you must make tough decisions about where you plan to settle, what to build, and how to recruit into your group of survivors.

Players can expect a major emphasis on developing a community network, which is achieved by nabbing multiple settlements and reinforce defenses and expand your arsenal. State of Decay 3 can be played solo or online in a shared world with cooperative multiplayer for up to four players, where you can progress the story forward while impacting the same shared world.

State Of Decay 3 is slated for release in 2027 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
