Call Of Duty Black Ops 6 Is UK’s Latest No.1, Physical Sales Down 10% Over Last Year’s MW3

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 has entered the UK physical charts at number one, although sales of the game are down 10% over last year’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, which has been attributed to Xbox Game Pass.

For those unaware, Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is the first entry in the multi-million selling franchise to hit Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on launch day, a result of the acquisition of Activision Blizzard at Microsoft’s hands. Therefore, sales of the Xbox versions of this year’s Call of Duty have seen a decline due to its availability on Game Pass, notes Christopher Dring of GamesIndustry.biz.
