NieR: Automata Ver1.1a cour 2 anime announced

As you might know, the NieR: Automata Ver1.1a anime just came to an end last week, marking the close of a season that was troubled by multiple Covid-related setbacks. Thankfully, all team members on the project returned to good health and they could see the season through to its end.

While many were hoping the Nier: Automata Ver1.1a anime would continue after season 1, we now have our first confirmation that that will indeed be the case. It’s been announced that Nier: Automata Ver1.1a cour 2 is in the works, and there’s even been a teaser released which you can find below.

We don’t have an specifics on just how far along Nier: Automata Ver1.1a cour 2 is in development, nor do we know a release date. Once those details become available, we’ll make sure to fill you in.
