Sociable Soccer Is Coming To PS5 And PS4 In 2024 With A FIFPRO License

Sociable Soccer will be coming to PS5 and PS4 sometime in the first quarter of 2024, though it’ll first release on PC and Nintendo Switch as Sociable Soccer 24 on November 16, 2023.

This marks a huge return for Sociable Soccer, since it was initially released on Steam, only to be pulled when it became an Apple Arcade exclusive.

What’s more, is that this title will come with a FIFPRO license, making it the first arcade soccer game to feature 10,000 licensed players.

Sociable Soccer, for those unaware, comes from the creator of Sensible Soccer and the sequel Sensible World Of Soccer, two beloved arcade soccer games that have been fan favourites for years.

“There have been so many people involved in the Sociable Soccer journey so far, it has felt like quite an epic quest.” said designer Jon Hare to VGC on the coming console launch.

“It is particularly satisfying to finally deliver the PC and console versions we promised eight years ago and I am delighted to say that all people who paid for the Steam Early Access version will get it for free.

Sociable Soccer 24 represents a very significant staging point in the Sociable Soccer journey so far, and we would like to thank all of our partners that have joined us on the way, including recent arrivals FIFPRO and its entourage of 10,000 stars who have come to join the party.”
