Penta vs. Rey Fenix For WWE Title Shot Against Roman Reigns
A battle of brothers is set for the finals of WWE’s World Title Tournament.
During Monday night’s episode of WWE Raw, Penta defeated La Parka in the final semifinal match to punch his ticket to the tournament finals.
Following the match, Rey Fenix emerged on the stage to acknowledge his brother, officially setting the stage for Penta vs. Fenix in the finals.
The matchup will see the former Lucha Bros partners go one-on-one with major championship implications at stake. Penta and Fenix spent years teaming together prior to arriving in WWE, capturing tag-team gold in multiple promotions along the way.
Fenix secured his place in the finals by defeating Dragon Lee in semifinal action, while Penta advanced with his victory over La Parka.
The winner of Penta vs. Rey Fenix will earn the right to challenge Roman Reigns for the title when WWE Raw heads to Mexico City on September 14.
