Trick Williams Claims To Be A Better Trash-Talker Than CM Punk

Trick Williams believes he can hang with CM Punk on the microphone, and even take things a step further.

Williams and Punk have crossed paths on WWE programming multiple times over the years, with Trick recently making it clear that he has his sights set on Punk’s WWE Championship. While a match between the two has yet to come together, Williams is already confident about how a potential war of words would play out.

During a recent appearance on SHAK Wrestling (see video below), Williams was asked about the possibility of going back-and-forth with Punk on the microphone.

“CM Punk is one of the greatest of all time,” Williams said. “He’s proven that. He had his legendary moments, from talking to trash talking. But you gotta understand, I come from a long, long line of trash talking who’s been passed down from my cells since [I was] a little kid. It’s in my DNA to talk trash like only Trick Williams can.”

Williams continued, arguing that Punk’s lengthy experience in the wrestling business wouldn’t give him the advantage.

“So if CM Punk thinks he’s ready because he has 30 years of wrestling and WWE experience, he has to understand my trash talk goes back for decades and decades, all the way back to times that none of us were born,” he continued. “I’m that level of trash talker.”
