Halo Studios Reveals Five Main Highlights In Campaign Evolved’s Latest Update

Update []:
This update is out now on Xbox! It clocks in at 8GB on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, and the full patch notes have been detailed on the official Halo Support website.
“This update to Halo: Campaign Evolved brings enhanced stability across multiple platforms, adjustments to enemy AI behaviors, new settings options, and more.”
A new Master Chief skin is also available, as you can see in the tweet below.
Original Story: We’ve got a new update coming to Halo: Campaign Evolved at some point over the next few days, and the folks over at Halo Studios have already revealed the five main highlights that will be featured as part of it.
This has been detailed on social media, including the ability to turn off both Chromatic Aberration and Film Grain, fixes for the Magnified Skull, and tweaks to Sgt. Johnson to ensure mission progression doesn’t get blocked.
Here are those five main improvements specifically:
• Improvements to Sgt. Johnson to prevent blocked mission progression.
• Jackals can now be staggered more reliably when targeting their hands and feet.
• Marines and Flood Marines will now fire their Assault Rifles when the Magnified Skull is activated.
• Players can now turn off Chromatic Aberration and Film Grain.
• Additional stability improvements across multiple platforms.
At the bottom of the tweet, it also mentions that mid-mission saved progress will be invalidated once this update goes live, so you’ll need to ensure you complete your current mission if you want to avoid having to replay it.
There’s no actual date for this update just yet though, with Halo Studios only confirming that it’ll arrive next week (so anywhere from August 17th to 21st). The full patch notes will also be revealed when that happens, so we’ll keep an eye out and let you know about them when they arrive.
