Techland says Dying Light: Retouched update not coming to Switch, “no plans” for Dying Light Switch 2 port
Dying Light: Retouched is a free update for Dying Light that will add enhanced audio, improved visuals and more. Some have been wondering if this free update would be coming to the Switch version of Dying Light, but sadly that’s not the case.
IGN had reached out to Dying Light developer Techland to see if the Switch version of the game would be included in the Retouched plans, and unfortunately it is not. Furthermore, Techland has also said that they have no plans to bring Dying Light to Switch 2. You can see the company’s statement in full below.
“The Dying Light: Retouched Update is not coming to Nintendo Switch. When it comes to a Switch 2 port of the original Dying Light: We have no plans at this moment. We’re currently fully focused on delivering Dying Light: The Beast on August 22, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series XǀS. We have no news to share about Nintendo Switch 2 at this time.”
