Firstly, let’s go over how to redeem the code you’ve got directly on your console.
- Whether or not your code is for wallet funds, a game, or in-game content, the process of redeeming codes is the same
- From your home screen, head to the PlayStation Store
- Once there, find the three dots in the top right corner of your screen labelled More to bring up a drop-down menu
- In that drop-down menu you’ll see the option to Redeem Code, select it
- Select the text box and enter your 12-digit code, you’ll know you’ve done it right if the thing you’re trying to redeem appears on screen
- Select Redeem, and that’s it!
How To Redeem A Code On Your Phone
Another easy way to redeem a code is through the PlayStation App for mobile phones, which can be downloaded on both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
- Open the PlayStation App, sign in if you haven’t already.
- Select the PlayStation Store icon at the bottom of your screen, directly in the middle
- Then select the burger menu in the top right of the screen, next to the Heart icon for your Wishlist and directly below the icon displaying how many of your friends are online
- A menu will appear, along with an option to Redeem Code, select it
- You may be asked to sign in again, and re-confirm the link to your console, which if it happens will take you back to the app’s home page. Simply repeat the previous steps, and it’ll work properly this time
- Select the text box which prompts you to enter in the 12-digit code, and enter your code
- Select continue, and then confirm that you wish to redeem the code you entered

- Head to PlayStation.com, and sign into your PlayStation account
- Once signed in, select the icon of your account’s avatar
- In the drop down menu, select Redeem Code
- A text box to enter your 12-digit code will appear on the right side of your screen, enter your code
- Select Continue and then confirm that you wish to redeem the code you entered
