World War I Shooter Gallipoli Brings The Middle Eastern Front To PS5 On May 21

Blackmill Games has announced that World War I first-person shooter Gallipoli, the next instalment in the series following Isonzo, Tannenberg, and Verdun, is launching on May 21, 2025 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.

Gallipoli focuses on the desert warfare across the Middle Eastern Front during The Great War, where players will take on the role of a British or Ottoman soldier and slugging it out in expeditionary warfare across coastal dunes, sun-baked deserts, war-torn urban locations and more. Promising realistic gameplay that reflects the WWI period, players will handle detailed weaponry and equipment, while teaming up with a squad in multiplayer where you’ll join one of many classes, each with distinct abilities.

Player will take part in the Gallipoli and Mesopotamia campaigns across varied battlefields, including landing on the beaches of Gallipoli with the ANZACs to seize the Dardanelles, engaging in combat in war-torn streets deep in Ottoman-controlled territory, and charge under the blistering sun to victory in no man’s land.

Work together as a squad to gain an edge over your opponents in player-versus-player combat. Pick from many different classes, each with an essential role on the battlefield. Take the lead as an Officer, lay down suppressive fire as a Light Machine Gunner, or keep your squad in the fight as a Stretcher Bearer!

Gallipoli launches May 21 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
