Christopher Judge Issues Statement Following God Of War Comments: ‘I Have Zero Involvement With The Original Games And What They Involve’

God of War Ragnarok voice actor Christopher Judge has issued a statement on X clarifying previously comments he made during a meet and greet uploaded by YouTuber Fuzhpuzy, where he spilled a number of details on the God of War Trilogy Remake and future announcements on his own projects.
Let me be crystal clear, I have zero involvement with the original games and what they involve. Full stop. As much as I would love that everything I do in the future would involve Santa Monica Studio and God of War, I have other projects that I am super excited about. More info this summer.
As previously reported, Judge had commented on the God of War Trilogy Remake noting that he wasn’t involved with Kratos’ role as he’s being voted by TC Carson, the original voice actor for the character. He also stated that we’ll hear more about what “we’re doing” (indicating himself and Sony Santa Monica Studio) in the summer.
The God of War Trilogy Remake project was announced during Sony’s State of Play broadcast last week, and beyond that the studio is working on another new title that is rumoured to be coming out in 2027. This could be a new God of War game, as a job listing posted last summer indicated as much with mention of preferred experience including “candidates who are fluent with the combat design choices, systems, mechanics, and enemies in God of War (2018) and God of War Ragnarök (2022).”
