PS Plus Extra Games Leaving In January 2026 Includes Like A Dragon: The Man Who Erased His Name

Sony Interactive Entertainment has updated its ‘Last Chance To Play’ section of the PlayStation Store, confirming the list of PS Plus Extra games set to leave the service in January 2026. Sadly, one of the game is the excellent Like A Dragon: The Man Who Erased His Name, so if you haven’t given it a shot yet, make sure you do over the holidays!

The following games are expected to leave on January 20, 2026:

  • Like A Dragon: The Man Who Erased HIs Name
  • SD Gundam Battle Alliance
  • Sayonara Wild Hearts
  • Monopoly Plus

While we’re on the subject of PS Plus Extra, Sony has today rolled out the free games for PS Plus Extra & PS Plus Premium users for the month, so go and grab them now. These include Assassin’s Creed Mirage and the PS2 Classic SoulCalibur III, although sadly the latter arrives without Trophies.

Sony originally released PS Plus over 15 years ago during the PS3 era, where the format holder offered free titles per month as well as access to online gaming (this was previously free to anyone). The service has evolved greatly since then, and these days you can choose between three tiers: PS Plus Essential, PS Plus Extra, and PS Plus Premium. Beginning next month, PS4 games will only be offered occasionally as Sony puts its focus on PS5 freebies.
