1348 Ex Voto Is A New Action-Adventure Game Set In 14th Century Italy, Coming To PS5 In Early 2026
Dear Villagers and Sedleo have announced development of a new action-adventure game set in 14th century Italy, 1348 Ex Voto, which is coming to PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S in early 2026.
1348 Ex Voto follows Aeta as she ventures across medieval Italy to pursue her closest one, Bianca, after their village is raided by bandits. The game is the first project from Sedleo, who was found by Tom Oceano and Fabiola Martelli, with the team spending a lot of time in rural parts of the Italian peninsula to research locations to provide an accurate and plausible world to set 1324 Ex Voto in.
The year 1348 is a bleak time in Italian history, with disease and pestilence having spread across the country and its populationunder threat from bandits and mercenaries. The protagonist, Aeta, has been training to become a knight, and in her pursuit of Bianca will see her battling foes in a brutal journey inspired by chivalric story tropes.

Combat promises to deliver cinematic battles inspired by Historical European Martial Arts, and has been animated with the help of experience Performance Capture actors. Players can select from one of two different combat stances — one-handed and two-handed — with skill books unlocking new combos and personalising Aeta’s swordplay.
