Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4 Remaster Is Making Major Changes To Its Mission Structure

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is out this July, and it’s emerged that the remaster of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skate 4 has made some significant changes over the original version.

We previously reported that the career mode from the original PS2 version of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4 has been given the boot, replacing it with time-based challenges instead. The original version of the skateboarding gave players the freedom to skate around stage while taking on challenge from NPCs; some of them were timed, but you were otherwise free to explore.

It’s now emerged that the remastered version of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4 has not only tinkered with these objectives so they now fit snugly into the two-minute format, but the timer can also be extended to 10 minutes or one hour. Right now it is unknown if these changes for the timer have been applied to the remaster of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3.
