DOOM: The Dark Ages Shines The Spotlight On The Cosmic Realm In New Trailer
id Software has published a new trailer for DOOM: The Dark Ages, which look at a new location in the form of the Cosmic Realm.
The trailer can be seen below and features commentary from Hugo Martin, the game’s director.

DOOM: The Dark Ages is slated for release on May 15, 2025 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S. The game is a prequel to the 2016 series self-titled reboot, and chronicles the rise of the DOOM Slayer as he battles against the forces of Hell across a techno-flavoured medieval setting.
Unlike the previous two entries, DOOM: The Dark Ages shifts gears towards more grounded combat with strategy a major factor in gameplay, and there’s a greater emphasis on storytelling this time around in an effort to offer insight into the DOOM Slayer’s origins. Martin previously revealed that the game won’t include a multiplayer mode, and said that while it’s possible to finish DOOM: The Dark Ages without using a gun, you’ll have your work cut out.
