Helldivers 2 Crowned Game Of The Year At 2024 TIGA Awards
Arrowhead Game Studios has walked away with two gongs from the 2024 TIGA Awards for its critically acclaimed Helldivers 2, with the shooter picking up Game of the Year and Best Technical Innovation.
Sony Interactive Entertainment meanwhile scooped up Best Use of a License for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, while The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered gave the format holder the awards for Best Narrative in Games. Meanwhile, Best Action & Adventure Game of 2024 and Diversity in Games went to Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 from Microsoft and Ninja Theory.

Helldivers 2 was released in February 2024 for PC and PS5, and has remained one of the most successful games of the year so far across any platform. The game has reached 15 million players worldwide since its release, and is continuing to receive strong post-launch support from Arrowhead. Helldivers 2 also performed strongly at the recent Golden Joystick Awards, where it scooped up Console Game of the Year among other gongs.
