Pokémon Center Tokyo Bay getting a revamp in 2024
The bad news is that Pokémon Center Tokyo Bay is closing up very early next year. The good news is that the store is only being shuttered temporarily, and it’s all in the name of a complete overhaul!
Pokémon Co. has announced that Pokémon Center Tokyo Bay is closing its doors on Jan 8th, 2023 in order to give the location a top-to-bottom makeover. The Pokémon Center will reopen come Spring 2024, bringing customers a revamped shopping experience, new look and more.
What’s a Pokémon fan to do while Pokémon Center Tokyo Bay is closed? Pokémon Co. has shared that a temporary pop-up location will be opened at the central plaza (1st floor) of Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport TOKYO-BAY’s north building.
Last but not least, anyone who stops by Pokémon Center Tokyo Bay before it closes on Jan. 8th, 2024 and makes a purchase of 3,000 yen or more will get to take home the above original A4 clear file. There will also be some in-store events to wrap up the location’s stint, including the opportunity to snap some pics with various Pikachu mascots.
