Diablo IV’s Next Expansion, “Vessel Of Hatred” Has Been Announced

Diablo IV’s next big coming expansion has been revealed at BlizzCon 2023, and it’ll be titled Vessel Of Hatred.

A new trailer was revealed along with the expansion’s announcement, and was part of the convention’s opening ceremony.

A short narration from Mephisto runs over a camera drawing closer into a forest, to then reveal a vast opening in the world of Nahantu.

The expansion will launch sometime in late 2024, though there’s no specific release date beyond that.

It’ll also apparently include a brand new kind of class that would be entirely new to the franchise, though there’s still no official word on what that’ll look like.

Of course BlizzCon has just kicked off, it’s possible we could learn a teaser or two more before its curtains for the year, though with a late 2024 release window, we might not hear anything until sometime in the middle of next year.

For now, we wait and see. There’s also still The Game Awards on the horizon, and a more in-depth trailer could be waiting for that showcase.
