Backstage News On Several Interesting Names At TNA Lockdown

Several independent wrestling names were backstage or in attendance for TNA Wrestling’s Lockdown pay-per-view this past weekend.

As previously noted, J Rod and Joshua Bishop were both at the event in Chicago. The two have generated interest from TNA in recent months and were also among the wrestlers who participated in WWE tryouts earlier this month.

Pinky Montoya was also in attendance for Lockdown, along with Kal Herro. Herro is a regular for Ohio Valley Wrestling, which has recently appeared to be moving toward a closer working relationship with TNA.

Another name spotted at the show was former NWA wrestler Missa Kate, who is from the Chicago area.

Kate announced her retirement from professional wrestling earlier this year at just 30 years old. Despite stepping away from the ring, she has left the door at least somewhat open for a potential comeback, previously indicating that she could “never say never” when it comes to wrestling again.

TNA Lockdown took place from Credit Union 1 Arena in Chicago, Illinois, with several notable names from outside the promotion attending the event.

As noted, WWE Superstar Bayley was also backstage at TNA Lockdown on Sunday.
