AEW Sponsors Owen Hart Anniversary With Elvis Costello Concert
AEW is continuing its partnership with the Owen Hart Foundation as the organization prepares to celebrate its 27th anniversary later this year.
The foundation, established by Dr. Martha Hart in 2000 in memory of her late husband Owen Hart, will mark the occasion with an Elvis Costello concert at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium in Calgary on Saturday, November 21.
AEW will serve as the official title presenter for the event. Tickets went on sale Thursday, with all proceeds benefiting the Owen Hart Foundation.
AEW and the Owen Hart Foundation have worked together since 2021. The organization focuses on providing opportunities for people with limited resources through initiatives including scholarships, food drives, international aid and assistance for prospective homeowners.
Speaking with CTV News to promote the upcoming special anniversary event, Martha Hart reflected on how the foundation has grown into an important part of her life.
“It’s really contagious when you start helping people — you really want to continue with that,” Hart said. “It’s so rewarding and so humbling.”
Costello previously performed at an Owen Hart Foundation event in 2016. His November 21 appearance is being promoted as an “intimate solo acoustic performance.”
