Name & Poster For AAA Event Doubleheader With NXT Heatwave
Lucha Libre AAA has revealed new details about its August 30 event in Edinburg, Texas.
The promotion announced on Thursday that the show will be titled “Ola De Calor,” which translates to “Heatwave” in Spanish. The branding matches WWE NXT’s Heatwave premium live event, which will take place later that same day at Bert Ogden Arena as part of a WWE-AAA doubleheader.
August 30 is already set to be a busy day for wrestling fans, as AEW will also present AEW All In: London 2026 from Wembley Stadium in London, England while WWE runs both the AAA event and NXT Heatwave in Texas.
AAA also unveiled the official event poster, featuring AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio alongside El Grande Americano, La Catalina, Penta, Rey Fenix, and AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio (see photo below).
“Ola De Calor” will stream live on Fox throughout Latin America, while fans in other regions can watch via YouTube and Facebook on August 30. NXT Heatwave will air on The CW in the United States and stream on Netflix internationally.
