Pragmata Sketchbook Demo Is Now Available On PS5, Allowing You To Experience The Game’s Unique Combat Loop

Capcom has released the Pragmata ‘sketchbook’ demo for PS5, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S, having previously been made available on PC.
The demo has players transported to a lunar research station in the near tour, where you’ll become acquainted with spacefarer Hugh and his android companion, Diana, as they join forces to find a way back to Earth. This is easier said than done, as the station’s AI classifies them as threats and dispatches Bots to attack them.
As a result, the Pragmata demo will give you the chance to go hands-on with the game’s unique hacking combat loop, which sees players using Diana to bring up a module that requires you to press the controller’s face buttons to allow her to exploit an enemy’s weakness. This renders them vulnerable to traditional firearm attacks by Hugh, allowing you to neutralise the threat. Cpacom also said the demo has “hidden features you might only find after repeat playthroughs,” so encourages you to try the demo multiple times.
PSU has gone hands-on with this ambitious sci-fi action game on a few occasions, so be sure to read our impressions here, and another from the Tokyo Game Show.
Pragmata is scheduled for release on April 24, 2026 for PS5, PC, Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S.
