Developed by Battlefield Studios, which is comprised of a number of developers including DICE, Ripple Effect Studios, Criterion Games and Motive Studios, Battlefield 6’s campaign is set between 2027 — 2028, and follows a conflict between NATO and Pax Armata. Multiplayer is supported with four classes — Assault, Engineer, Support, and Recon, with returning game modes included plus the all-new Escalation.
The game’s latest update was released on December 9, and launched the Winter Offensive content that includes the Ice Lock Empire State Limited-Time Map. In addition, players can also access a new Ice Climbing Axe melee weapon, while other improvements include revisions to hit registration, close-range soldier visibility, and refined weapon handling.
