Persona 5 X gets a new fan favorite playable character in next update
Get ready to head back into the metaverse – Persona 5 The Phantom X‘s next update promises a lot more content, OG Phantom Thieves, and plenty more to do in Shibuya. Launching on November 6, the 2.4 update is sure to be a hit with long-time Persona fans.
That’s right – finally, Persona 5’s Futaba Sakura makes her way into the playable Persona 5 X roster. Oracle, as she’s known in-game, and her signature weapon are available on the banner for us to roll on. You can tune in to the recent version update livestream to get a good look at what she can do.
There’s also a new palace to explore, complete with a story campaign. The Crossroads of Fate event continues with the Pyramid Arc, tying in to the events of Persona 5, where we originally met Futaba. This includes a boss challenge against Moha, the Sinner of Wrath.
On top of the long-awaited release of Futaba, both Queen and Fox (Persona 5’s Makoto and Yusuke) go live in the second half of the update, as two excellent reruns. There are plenty of rewards to go around this update, too – a login bonus grants you eight Platinum Milicoins, which you can use to pull for limited-time weapons for Oracle, or the reruns of Makoto and Yusuke’s ideal pieces.
One last bonus: a skin for Futaba is part of her release. For a limited time, you can grab her red and white maid outfit for just 2,880 meta jewels, before it goes to the regular price of 3,200. This cute outfit features a headband, gloves, and an apron to change the vibe a little.
