Rumour – Starfield Is Coming To PS5 In Spring 2026 Alongside The Game’s Second Expansion

Fresh rumours about a PS5 release of Bethesda’s sci-fi adventurer Starfield have surfaced in a new report on MP1st, which claims that the game will arrive for Sony’s platform in Spring 2026 alongside the second expansion.

According to sources at the site, it is not expected that we’ll hear anything about Starfield for PS5 at GamesCom later this month, and the game will arrive with a number of quality-of-life improvements to accompany the second expansion and PS5 release.

While MP1st notes that things are always subject to change when it comes to video game releases, it is not expected that Starfield will hit Sony’s console in 2025.

While nothing official has been announced yet, this latest report does align with recent comments from leaker NateTheHate, who said that while Starfield is still coming to PS5, it may be hitting the console later than originally planned. Back in March of this year, The Verge’s Tom Warren stated that Starfield could arrive later this year alongside the game’s second expansion, and follows reports that the Starfield logo had been added to the game’s creation page.

Starfield was originally released for PC and Xbox Series X/S in September 2023.
