In case you missed our initial story, Sony has accused Tencent of ripping off the Horizon franchise with Light of Motiram, which features a strikingly familiar aesthetic and game world as Guerrilla Games critically acclaimed series. Both are set in the future and see the world inhabited by mechanical creatures, with humanity struggling to survive.

Horizon first launched back in 2017 for the PS4 and received a follow-up, Horizon Forbidden West, for the PS4 and PS5 in 2022. Horizon was also remastered for the PS5 with various bells and whistles in October last year. A third game is reportedly in the works for a 2027 release, which is supposedly going to launch for PS5 & PS6.
