Hopefully you were one of the lucky ones who got a Nintendo Switch 2 preorder in. You’ll be picking the system up next week, but do you know what you’re going to play? Mario Kart World will only drive you so far, but there’s another world to explore—a world of assassination.

IO Interactive’s HITMAN World of Assassination – Signature Edition will be available as a native Switch 2 release on June 5th, and preorders are open now. Mario fans will want to take advantage of that, as there are two related (of sorts) preorder options available:

The Mario-themed Signature pack is available with all digital preorders. Preorder the physical version (game-key card), however, and you’ll get both the Signature Pack and the “equal parts murderous and squeaky Quack Pack.”

As for the game itself:

HITMAN World of Assassination – Signature Edition features all the globetrotting missions of Agent 47 from the original World of Assassination game, including the endlessly remixable side content such as the Contracts and Freelancer modes, as well as timed live content that tasks players with hunting down iconic, elusive targets from pop culture. The new Signature Edition adds to the existing 100+ hours of content in the base game by bundling in all of the HITMAN 2 Expansion Pack, the HITMAN 3 Deluxe Pack content and the Seven Deadly Sins Pack, offering near-limitless deadly action.

HITMAN World of Assassination also includes the ‘Freelancer’ mode, a new way to play on your own terms, that combines rogue-like elements and deep strategic planning with a persistent and infinitely replayable gameplay experience.
