Elden Ring Surpasses 30 Million Shipments & Digital Sales Worldwide
Bandai Namco Entertainment and FromSoftware have announced that Elden Ring has reached 30 million shipments and digital sales worldwide since its launch in February 2022. Previously, it was revealed that the critically acclaimed fantasy-RPG had reached 25 million copies moved as of June last year.
Elden Ring is a collaboration between FromSoftware and Game of Thrones writer George R.R. Martin, who designed the world and lore. The American writer recently stated that there has been ‘some talk’ about a possible movie adaptation of the sprawling open-world game, but nothing has been set in stone yet.

Back in December 2024, FromSoftware’s Hidetaka Miyazaki revealed that a sequel to Elden Ring isn’t been considered by the studio, but until that happens, we have the spin-off Elden Ring: Nightreign, which is due to launch in May 2025.
