Hollow Knight: Silksong Is Coming In 2025 As The Game Resurfaces For Nintendo Switch 2 Event
The Nintendo Switch 2 Direct event has confirmed that Hollow Knight: Silksong is finally launching in 2025, and unless there’s some timed-exclusivity in place we aren’t aware of, this means the game will arrive on all platforms including PS5 this year.
Hollow Knight: Silksong has been a long time coming, as the game was originally announced back in 2019 before the PS5 was even released. Numerous delays followed and we heard little on the game over the past few years, although back in January this year developed Team Cherry revealed that the title is ‘progressing and will release.’ Well, it’s finally happening in 2025.

Hollow Knight: Silksong is in development for PS5, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One, and was originally conceived as DLC for the original Hollow Knight. The project grew in scope however, and was instead made into a full-fledged sequel featuring more than 165 new enemies and more than 100 different checkpoints.
An exact release date for Hollow Knight: Silksong has yet to be announced.
