Microsoft Is Reportedly Thinking Of Bringing Hellblade 2 To PS5

Microsoft kicking off the week by shuttering four studios including Arkane Austin and Tango Gameworks has sparked many a conversation around what is even going on over at team green.

On Wednesday, a report from The Verge seemingly gives a deeper look as to exactly that – and what seems to be going on is a lot of chaos. The report describes a Microsoft that is confused about how to handle its internal studios, and its owned IP.

A point of confusion that The Verge points out is whether or not Microsoft should bring one of its biggest upcoming exclusive titles to PS5, as it debates bringing Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 over to PlayStation.

“I understand Hellblade 2 is another game Microsoft has been considering for PS5,” writes The Verge reporter Tom Warren, who was one of the first to report that Microsoft would be bringing first-party games to other platforms, calling out the four titles before Xbox confirmed them not too long after his initial report.

If Hellblade 2 does end up coming to PlayStation, it’ll likely be a while until that happens. It’ll be arriving exclusively on Xbox Series consoles and PC within the month, so it probably won’t arrive anywhere else for some time, if that is going to happen.
