Bounty Hunting across the galaxy! Pure Nintendo Podcast E74

This week on the Pure Nintendo Podcast, Jemma, Kirk, and Trev talk about the latest news from Nintendo and games we’re playing, including Star Wars: Bounty Hunter.

Last week, we celebrated the anniversary of Metroid, leading to a fun discussion about this classic series. This week, we kick things off with a PAX Au announcement – Jemma is heading to the event this October in Melbourne!

Meanwhile, two Zelda-related amiibo are back in stock in time for Echoes of Wisdom. Will we see any new amiibo, though? We’re also excited about the upcoming re-release of the classic 1996 title Broken Sword. This happens to be one of Trev’s favorite games, and he gives us a breakdown of what to expect when the Switch version comes to us on September 19.

We discuss the impact of a Sony game coming to the Switch in the form of LEGO Horizon Adventures, due for release during the 2024 holiday season.

As for the games we’re playing, we have three winners this week! Jemma is donning the Mandalorian armour of Jango Fett in Star Wars: Bounty Hunter, and having a blast so far. Trev is playing the latest entry in the SteamWorld universe, SteamWorld Heist II – and also loving it. Kirk, on the other hand, is playing the lovely Natsu-Mon: 20th Century Summer Kid, which sounds like a relaxing child-like affair set in the Japanese countryside.
