Hit Survival Shooter Into The Radius Heads To PS VR2 And PS5 Next Month

Into The Radius is a new survival shooter VR title that’ll be landing on PS5 and PS VR2 next month, on September 19, 2024.

From developer CM Games, this survival shooter first arrived on PC VR back in 2019, and is now finally making its way to PlayStation’s headset.

Announced during the VR Games Showcase, Into The Radius leans in a different direction than a lot of VR shooters. Most of them just ask you to point and shoot, while Into The Radius demands you put much, much more thought into every action you take.

Not only is Into The Radius a shooter, it’s a survival game that’ll have you cautiously moving throughout its post-apocalyptic setting, not wanting to waste a single bullet or resource.

The tense experience Into The Radius offers is what made it a hugely popular VR title on PC, and now with PlayStation’s new generation of headset, players on PS5 will finally be able to put their own survival skills to the test.

Set in an area called the Radius, you’ll be battling odd and dangerous supernatural anomalies, but keeping yourself alive takes more than just being a good shot.

In fact, more often than not you’ll want to avoid taking a shot at all, as stealth is a huge cornerstone of staying alive in the Radius. Plus, every shot fired is another opportunity for your weapons to deteriorate and break down, especially if you’ve been lax when it comes to maintaining them.

Into The Radius left early access in 2020 and is arguably one of the best survival experiences to be had in VR, and now you’ll be able to experience it and earn trophies at the same time.
