The current Disney Dreamlight Valley update is Thrills and Frills. It sees the long-awaited Daisy Duck arrive in the valley, along with her very own friendship quest line that invites you to lend Daisy your creativity and fashion sense in order to unlock your very own personal boutique.
The boutique allows you to sell your custom designs, unlock new customizable items, share your wares with others, and visit your friends’ valleys to browse their unique creations.
On top of this, the multiplayer feature boasts several improvements including the ability to take selfies with your friends, and take part in activities such as gardening, mining, fishing, and cooking together.
Alongside the free Thrills and Frills update, May 1 also sees the release of Act II of the A Rift in Time Expansion Pass, entitled The Spark of Imagination. This new update invites you to learn more about the mysteries of Eternity Isle, while also introducing the classic Disney character, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. And that’s not all, as this second act invites you to embark on a new, expansive quest alongside Rapunzel, Gaston, and EVE, further upgrade your Royal Hourglass, and unlock new decorations and Scramblecoin figures along the way
What’s the current Disney Dreamlight Valley Star Path?
The current Disney Dreamlight Valley Star Path celebrates all things Disney Parks, featuring attractions such as the Alien Swirling Saucers and Magic Carpets of Aladdin, as well as fresh new clothing and Dream Styles for Daisy Duck and Minnie Mouse. Alongside this, new parks attractions and special clothing items will be available for purchase in the premium shop.

Are the Disney Dreamlight Valley updates free?
As you may have heard, Disney Dreamlight Valley’s free to play plans are no longer on the cards, but Gameloft has confirmed that the base game will continue to get free updates including new characters, realms, and more.
However, you do have to pay for the Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time expansion. The expansion takes you to a whole new world about the same size as the original valley, and unlocks a bunch of new characters including EVE, Rapunzel, and Gaston. New tools and mechanics are also locked behind this expansion, including a bunch of handy machines that can automate systems such as sprinklers to water your crops and a tool that allows you to cook multiple meals at once.
Luckily, if you want to try out a Rift in Time for yourself but don’t want to splash that cash, you can play the Disney Dreamlight Valley: Arcade Edition for free if you have an Apple Arcade subscription. The Arcade Edition comes complete with the new expansion, as well as all past and future content updates – the only things you miss out on are the Star Paths and the premium shop.
