SEGA Is Considering A Global Release For Persona 5: The Phantom X
SEGA has revealed during its latest quarterly earnings call that it is considering a global release for Persona 5: The Phantom X.
The Persona spin-off title originally released for Android, PC, and iOS last month in selected regions only, including China and South Korea. SEGA has now said that the game started off “as expected” and that “future expansion in Japan and global is under consideration.”
Speaking of Persona, it was reported that SEGA is looking to annualise a number of key franchises including Persona, which means not only new games, but remakes/remasters, DLC, expansions, and other media projects.

Looking ahead for the franchise, Persona 6 has seen a number of rumours emerged over the past few years, most recently in March, when noted leaker Head on the Block (aka Im A Hero Too) claimed the game would feature a semi-open world structure and feature more interactive Social Links.
Atlus hasn’t announced anything about Persona 6 at this point and there’s still no word on a release date for the game.
