PEGI rates Hi-Fi Rush for Switch release

For much of this year, we’ve heard plenty of rumors about Hi-Fi Rush making its way to Nintendo fans. There was even some compelling evidence that was dug up by dataminers, with iconography that certainly made it seem like the Xbox and PC game was Switch-bound. Those same rumors also stated that the game was going to make its way to PS5. Then most had their hopes dashed, as a Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase came around without any mention of a Switch port, but a PS5 version did indeed release.

The original rumors of Hi-Fi Rush coming to Switch were shared alongside rumblings of Microsoft bringing more games over to Nintendo’s ecosystem. That part of the speculation was true, as Pentiment and Grounded have made their way over. So what in the world is going on with Hi-Fi Rush? Well, today we finally have confirmation that those rumors were 100% true as well.

After months and months of debate, PEGI has come out and confirmed that Hi-Fi Rush is Switch-bound. An official rating for a Switch version of the game has surfaced on the PEGI website, and oddly enough, the rating has been published the exact same time as the PS5 version; April 30th, 2024.

With the rating out there, it’s only a matter of time until the announcement is made and the game arrives. If you were part of “Team Real” instead of “Team Fake,” now’s the time to give yourself a pat on the back!
