Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes Sequel To Go Head Despite Creator’s Passing
Rabbit & Bear Studios has announced that a sequel to Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will happen despite the death of Suikoden creator Yoshitaka Murayama back in February.
Speaking in a Reddit AMA, the studio, which was founded by Murayama-san in 2020 and took to Kickstarter to fund Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, confirmed that plans for a follow-up were already in place prior Murayama’s passing.
When asked about Rabbit & Bear’s future plans and if Murayama’s passing would impact on a possible sequel, the company replied:
Absolutely! We are moving forward with a sequel. It is very sad that Murayama is not with us anymore, but we have discussed many things with him. I hope we will be able to carry on Murayama’s legacy, and I always want to treasure his last work. I hope many people will support this game.
