Bomb Rush Cyberfunk devs want to do more with the series

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is very much a love letter to SEGA’s Jet Set/Grind Radio franchise, but it also offers its own unique setting and cast of characters. If those creations happened to resonate with you, you’ll be happy to know that it sounds like we’ll be seeing more from them in the future.

The latest issue of EDGE Magazine featured an interview with Team Reptile co-founder Tim Remmers, and while he didn’t specifically say what was in the works, he did mention having an interest in creating more Cyberfunk titles. This led into a discussion about a cancelled rhythm game that could see the light of day in some shape or form.

Remmers also seemed open to the idea of a Cyberfunk title that offers multiplayer, but wanted things to be very clear; it wouldn’t be a game-as-a-service. A multiplayer title would focus on a more traditional multiplayer component, rather than the multiplayer action you see from titles like Fortnite, Apex Legends, PUBG and so on.
