PlayStation Players Want Xim Products Blocked Next After Cronus Zen

The PS5’s latest firmware update 24.01-08.60.00, whether on purpose or by accident, has made it so that Cronus Zen devices will no longer work on PS5.

For most players, this was happy news, since Cronus Zen is a product mainly used by players to gain an unfair advantage over other players.

The prime example being FPS players using Cronus Zen so that they can play with a mouse and keyboard on consoles. Now, PlayStation players want Sony to put another, similar device on the chopping block.

Xim devices are what players want to see blocked next, to help further curb the issue of cheaters on consoles.

Spotted by PlayStationLifeStyle, players are speaking out on Reddit that Xim devices need to be blocked next, with many of them citing the worst players are those in games like Rainbow Six Siege and Call Of Duty.

It’s still unclear if PlayStation directly targeted Cronus Zen devices in this previous update, and it’ll be interesting to see if the next update does anything to Xim devices.
