Rumour – Red Dead Redemption 3 Is ‘Officially In The Works’ At Rockstar
Rockstar Games is reportedly working on Red Dead Redemption 3, according to a wild rumour lassoed by the Twitter user @MyTimeToShineH.
You may recall that this is the same insider who only recently claimed that Hogwarts Legacy 2 is in the pipeline, although keep your expectations in check for now, as nothing has been corroborated by other sources. Rockstar certainly isn’t going to shout about a new Red Dead Redemption for a long time yet, not when it hasn’t even showcased Grand Theft Auto VI yet.
Insider-Gaming speculates that GTA VI is approaching the end of its production cycle now, and therefore Rockstar is likely going to be shifting resources to Red Dead Redemption, which is likely going to be six-seven years away. That might seem like a long time, but remember, there was eight years between Red Dead Redemption and its sequel.

Red Dead Revolver was the first video game to carry the ‘Red Dead’ name by Rockstar, which was released in 2004. However, the series really reached massive commercial to heights with 2010’s Red Dead Redemption, with 2018’s Red Dead Redemption adding a multiplayer mode to the equation in Red Dead Online.
Speaking of Red Dead Redemption, Rockstar recently launched the game for PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch, although it sadly wasn’t the complete overhaul many fans were hoping for, and the $50 price point did not help matters.
