Persona 3 Reload Might Be Doing Away With One Of The Original Persona 3’s Core Systems

Persona 3 Reload is the upcoming remake of Persona 3, and as is the case with remakes, not everything from the original game will be exactly the same.

In a recent interview with the game’s producer Kazuhisa Wada which was then translated by a user on Twitter, it was revealed that Atlus is looking to make this new version of Persona 3 something that plays closer to modern-day dungeon crawlers.

To that end, Atlus seems to have removed one of the original game’s core systems, fatigue. In the original game, characters would get tired after running through battles in Tartarus, and be unable to do so two nights in a row.

This made players slow down in their time with Persona 3, and approach the game very differently than they otherwise would have if they didn’t face this limitation.

Veteran fans of Persona 3 are decidedly unhappy about this change, though changes like this are to be expected in remakes. Some of them may work, others not so much.

We’ll have to wait to learn more about what Atlus is really doing to change things up in this remake, to really see how fans take to all the changes made.
