The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR is an on-the-rails shooter similar to Supermassive Games’ PSVR title Until Dawn: Rush of Blood, taking players through a variety of locations from The Dark Pictures Anthology’s first season. As such, you’ll come across the haunted ship from Man of Medan, the spooky ghost town of Little Hope, the temple from House of Ashes and the serial killer house from The Devil In Me.
The game take full advantage of the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers afford by the PSVR 2’s Sense controllers, with each firearm featuring its own resistance levels, while weather effects including wind, rain and sand all add a new layer of immersion to this horrific roller-coaster.
The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR is scheduled for release on March 16, 2023 for PSVR 2.
