Indiana Jones whips into this week’s Nintendo eShop roundup

A new week means fresh eShop content to explore! We’re a little late with this week’s download wrap up, but with good reason – we were somewhat distracted by that Star Fox news. In any case, this week’s eShop releases includes the likes of Mixtape and Indiana Jones. Two very different games that both look great in their own way.

First up is none other than Indiana Jones. Yep, Indy is back in action with the Great Circle, an adventure originally released in late 2024. This is the sort of game Nintendo fans might have missed out on previously, but thanks to the power of the Switch 2, we can enjoy this outing on our fave hybrid console. The story is set between classic Indy outings Raiders of the Lost Ark and the Last Crusade, making it one for the fans. We can’t wait to get our own hands on it.

Next up is Mixtape, a narrative adventure set in the 1990s. This one’s a simultaneous release across platforms, so Nintendo fans won’t have to wait in line. The game is about three friends on their last night of high school as they embark on one more adventure together. Music plays a big role in this outing making this a very interesting and nostalgic look at the world that best of decades known as the ’90s.

• Indiana Jones and the Great Circle – When adventure calls, Indiana Jones answers. The iconic adventurer returns in a journey set between the events of Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Use Indy’s whip and wits to take on sinister forces as you travel from the halls of Marshall College to the sunken temples of Sukhothai to unlock the secrets of the Great Circle. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle swings onto Nintendo Switch 2 on May 12. Pre-orders are available now.
• Mixtape – From the developers of BAFTA award-winning game The Artful Escape, Mixtape is a narrative-driven adventure of three friends exploring the greatest hits of their teenage experience, from the first kiss to the last dance. Inspired by classic coming-of-age movies, the game brings together a varied mix of popular music, eclectic gameplay and the highs and lows of adolescence. Mixtape is aavailable on the Nintendo Switch 2 system now.

Kick things off with the Nintendo Switch Sports game, where you can get the whole family moving¹ with an exhilarating sports collection! Or turn the living room into mom’s very own dance floor with Just Dance 2026, where up to 6 players can groove to chart-topping tracks and timeless classics. Bond over some chaotic cooking action in Overcooked! 2, where working together is the ingredient to success … unless you prefer to turn up the heat with some friendly competition. Jump into madcap multiplayer¹ attractions in the Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park game, and wind down in a cozy haven with Disney Dreamlight Valley. However the day unfolds, there’s a co-op¹ game here to make it a little more memorable!

• Sableye’s Gem Hunt in Pokémon Pokopia! – Another Pokémon is comin’ to town in the Pokémon Pokopia game – and it’s got a hankering for gemstones! From now until May 14 at 4:59 a.m. local time, Sableye will appear near rebuilt Pokémon Centers! You can befriend it to receive a request to collect red crystal fragments, which you can find on Dream Islands. When you return home from a Dream Island, bring those fragments to Sableye at the Pokémon Center to exchange them for themed items, including furniture, building kits and more. Even after the event is over, Sableye will stick around town with your other Pokémon friends! Happy treasure hunting!
• Donkey Kong Bananza: DK Island + Emerald Rush DLC Event – Rattlin’ Snake Banaza – Get ready for the next monthly limited-time event in the DK Island + Emerald Rush paid DLC² for the Donkey Kong Bananza game! During the Rattlin’ Snake Banaza event, you’ll go spelunking through the glowing depths of the Radiance Layer for the opportunity to collect statues of Snake Bananza and Rattly. Watch out for snakes! This event will take place from May 12 at 1 a.m. PT to May 19 at 12:59 p.m. PT.
