Pure Nintendo Podcast E48 | Mario Vs. DK demo, Sonic X Shadow, and more!

This week on the Pure Nintendo Podcast, Jemma and Kirk check out the Mario Vs. Donkey Kong demo, plus the new Sonic trailer, and much more!

Last week, we looked into the recent Palworld controversy. This week we step back into a more posirive role, looking at a few upcoming and current games. We start with the Mario Vs. Donkey Kong demo that’s out now, with the full game heading our way on February 16.

Meanwhile, SEGA dropped a surprise announcement last week in the form of Sonic X Shadows Generations, a remake of Sonic Generations with added Shadow content. We’re not sure how to pronouce this title, so let us know your thoughts on that as well!

We’re playing a few games this week including up-and-coming platformer Promenade, the time-consuming Persona 5 Royal, and the stealthy Hitman: Blood Money.

We cap things off with our Switch 2 rumors of the week, this time focussing on some games that are being talked about for the launch of the system. It’s all speculation since nothing has been officially announced, but it’s fun to discuss the possibilities until we wait for the official word from Nintendo.
