Randy Orton Shares Cryptic ‘Mystery Caller’ Video On Social Media With Big Tease At The End

Randy Orton appears to be closing in on a major reveal.

And it’s set for his hometown.

After weeks of cryptic teases, “The Viper” has confirmed that he will finally come face-to-face with the mysterious individual who has been advising him behind the scenes. The meeting is scheduled for this Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown in St. Louis, adding even more intrigue to the ongoing storyline.

Orton has been shown taking phone calls from an unknown person ever since his heel turn on Cody Rhodes during the March 14 episode of SmackDown. Since then, “The Viper” has fully embraced his darker persona once again, repeatedly stating that returning to his more ruthless nature is necessary if he wants to defeat Rhodes.

Now, it looks like that influence is about to step out of the shadows.

In a new video posted to X on Wednesday, Orton is seen speaking directly to the mystery figure, hinting that their plan is about to come to fruition.

“The same, man,” Orton begins in the one-sided conversation we are privvy to in the video. “I appreciate everything you’ve been doing for me… Yeah, I think we’re ready to go.”

Orton continues, “This Friday, right?… I’ll see you in St. Louis.”

Shortly after ending the call, Orton turns and stares at a nearby trophy case, one that prominently features a photo of his father, “Cowboy” Bob Orton, alongside his grandfather, Bob Orton Sr.—a subtle but notable visual that has already sparked speculation among fans.

A tease?

Absolutely.

As of now, there’s no official word on who Orton has been communicating with, but the reveal is expected to take place when WWE SmackDown emanates from the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri, which is Orton’s hometown.
