Predator: Hunting Grounds Is Getting A Native PS5 Version And More Content Across 2024 And 2025

Predator: Hunting Grounds will be getting a native PS5 version sometime later in 2024, developer IllFonic has announced.

What’s more is that it’ll also be getting new content across this year and next, with the first big update to arrive in April 2024, with Patch 2.49.

This is all a result of the news that IllFonic has taken control of the publishing rights for Predator: Hunting Grounds from the games original publisher, Sony.

For this first patch coming in April, “the focus is on player movement, Fireteam weapon rework and balance,” according to a press release.

The PS5 version will arrive sometime before the end of 2024, along with new Predators. As far as the new content coming in 2025, IllFonic confirms that’ll also be “more new Predators.”

You can check out a new teaser for the new version below.

“This game has a strong, enthusiastic player base and a vocal community that wants to see the game updated and supported,” said chief executive officer at IllFonic, Charles Brungardt.

“Now that IllFonic is publishing games, we knew we had to get Predator: Hunting Grounds back. We knew we needed to get back to the Chopper!”
