CD Projekt RED Has ‘No Plans For Additional DLCs Or Expansions’ For Cyberpunk 2077

CD Projekt RED has revealed in an exchange with a fan on X that Cyberpunk 2077 will not be receiving any additional DLC or expansions, as rumours continue to do the rounds about The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt getting fresh content more than 10 years after launch.
When asked if the critically acclaimed sci-fi title would get “secret new DLC,” the developer replied, “We have no plans for additional DLCs or expansions. If anything changes, we will inform you all!” This probably isn’t a surprise considering CDPR is knuckling down on Cyberpunk 2, which as of May 2025 was in the pre-production phase.
To be fair, the team has been pretty solid with its post-launch support for Cyberpunk 2077, as aside from various quality-of-life improvements, the game received a full story expansion, Phantom Liberty, and in July last year received a new update that added VRR support on consoles plus three new cars. Cyberpunk 2077 launched in December 2020 and as of November 2025 sold 35 million copies worldwide.
The game didn’t have the smoothest ride though, as the original PS4 and Xbox One release was plagued by bugs and performance issues; it later transpired that CDPR put $125 million into fixing Cyberpunk 2077 and making its DLC.
